Review of “The Alamo,” by Fabrice Caro: Does Cyril have the power to kill with his thoughts?

I will never forget the parties and the tears, the provincial nightclubs and the gigantic tables, the whole team that created a unique dynamic for everyone, a personal and group energy... The success of Fabcaro, of "Zai zaï zaï zaï", was like sugar for all of us, everyone bit into it, in addition to the resonance of the thing we were able to discover the upgrade, the comfort to work on our new projects, the new look at the publishing house...

We were no longer the lousy ones who laugh all the time next to the courier, and Fabcaro doesn't move, he doesn't change, nothing... the guy is talked about everywhere, everyone is dithyrambic about the animal, there is not a cultural sector that does not reference his work and he calmly, always discreetly comes for your birthday... you ask him for pages for a fanzine, you have it in your box at the end of the week... Afterwards, the author who learns that he is signing next to Fabcaro one afternoon... if he is not ready it shakes me up I can talk about it in complete freedom I experienced the thing, you must not be fragile at that moment, if your ego as an author is scratched... you will see a guy who got lost with an old fanzine... and will make him drop all the piles of his books...
